GLOW Fest is a circus arts and lifestyle gathering, held in the stunning beachside location of Crescent Head on the mid north coast of NSW. It returns to Waves Campground for its second year, 11-15 August.

It kicks off with a spectacular GLOW party on Thursday night, so bring your LED toys! Friday through Sunday is jam-packed with daytime workshops, while the nights are filled with fire spinning circles and specially curated performances by headlining facilitators as well as the chance for attendees to jump up and offer their own artistic contribution. Saturday is family day, with extra kids activities and entertainment.

Take some time to appreciate the beautiful site on which GLOW Fest is held, and see what other magical encounters you'll have... contribute to an artwork in the Nad Rads chill space, watch our resident artists working on their own pieces, jam it out with our local DJs or join in the fun of our roving entertainers. Waves Campground is directly across from Delicate Nobby and its renowned surf beaches, where early risers can enjoy a yoga session as the sun comes up.

What sets GLOW Fest apart from many other festivals is its inclusivity. Tickets remain at affordable prices in return for 1 x 4-hour volunteer shift from each attendee - promoting a sense of community and collaboration in creating this wonderful space. Attendees that prefer to relax and take time out can simply purchase a Play Pass to surpass this requirement.

GLOW Fest is a drug and alcohol-free event, and is suitable for people of all ages, from hobbyist to pro. The GLOW Fest ethos is Community, Participation, Respect, Consent & Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

GLOW Fest launched in March 2021 and featured a main stage art bus installation, fire art displays and live art alongside its daily program of workshops and performances.

As it turned out, the March event was perfectly nestled between what ended up being massively disruptive outbreaks of Covid along the East Coast. People travelled from all over Australia to reconnect with community and to meet new people, learn new skills and open themselves to new artistic experiences.

In order to comply with GLOW Fest’s Covid-19 safety plan and capacity limitations, every attendee must register their information via this ticketing site prior to arrival (including those selecting free tickets). There will be no admittance without this registration.

We know this year has been tough for many people, and like many in the GLOW crew, a lack of work has made finances pretty tight. So we’re happy to provide great value tickets for our people in exchange for a bit of help on site (1x 4-hour volunteer shift).

If you’re someone who has worked hard through Covid, we offer a Play Pass in the Add-on section so you can just kick back and take a well-earned break.

Complimentary tickets are provided for registered Carers and Audio Describers to attend GLOW Fest alongside those requiring assistance (must provide valid Carer ID at check-in). Ticket only valid when accompanied by person of care.

The following accommodation types are available to you during GLOW Fest. Option 1 is included in the standard ticket price and the remaining options must be selected as Add-ons. Children under 6 do not need to pay for any accommodation upgrades.
