Glow-worm Walk with Annette Lees
Event description
"Titiwai are glow-worms, the constellation of caves. In their genealogy, some hapū say, glow-worms are linked to Kiwa, the guardian of the ocean." - Annette Lees, After Dark
Join author Annette Lees on another hīkoi into the night and darkness around the Arataki Visitor Centre, this time down the Beveridge Track, to spot the glow-worms that live there. There will also be time for tea, coffee and biscuits at the Visitor Centre and, if the weather allows, a star-gazing session from our observation decks.
