Glow Yoga: Easter Saturday

Welcome to GLOW: Yoga with Rach from Temple of Her Moon.

Rach has been teaching yoga for nearly 10 years, and practising personally for 20. She is also a mother of four, Midwife, HypnoBirthing Practitioner, Reiki Healer, Artist, Womens Circle Facilitator and soon to be Qualified Relationship Coach. Her passion is in suppprting and empowering women, helping them to remember their value, worth and power.

What to expect during our GLOW Yoga session...

This session is suitable for ALL levels, and can be thought of as mindful movement. You are most certainly not expected to touch your toes, and you will soon discover that yoga is not about flexibility (suprise!- that is something that comes with regular practice), it is about learning how to be present in your body, mind and soul, and deepening your relationship to yourself and the world around you. 

During our session you will be guided through some gentle breathing techniques, intention setting, a series of asanas (postures) to remove tension from your body and improve spinal health, somatic movement to reset your nervous system and a short meditation to bring you back home to your body. The session will also be infused with soothijg music, aromatherapy and live sound healing, the perfect blend to leave you feeling... glowing! 

What to bring:

Please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket/pillow if desired. You are welcome to bring an eye pillow as well for meditation. This is your time to unplug from the busy day and your comfort is important. If you don't have a mat please let me know and I can provide one.

What to wear:

Anything that you can comfortably lift your arms over your head and not have your top fall over your head when we are in downward facing dog. Active leggings or trackpants are perfect. It's a great idea to bring socks and a warm jumper as it is very hard to truly relax if you are cold.
