GMM at The Bird w/ Mia June, Ruby Taylor, The Drowners

On Saturday June the 24th, the new and unapologetically earnest post-punk band Good Morning Midnight start their band launch mini-tour at The Bird - with support from some of their favourite Perth Artists. With a "...unique blend of shoegaze and ethereal guitars, pulsating electronic drum grooves, and tight dance basslines, GMM creates heavy, atmospheric soundscapes that captivates listeners". GMM draws inspiration from bands such as The Murder Capital, IDLES, Nick Cave and Fontaine's DC.
Supported by the amazing up and coming Mia June, whose music can be described as dreamlike yet punchy indie-rock. Uniting dynamic guitar melodies with her part-gritty, part-tender, fully relatable delivery. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Mitski and Julia Jacklin.
