Morning: Automate your weekly admin
9:00am to 12:15pm
Stop doing the same job by hand every week. Bring one job you’re sick of, such as the weekly summary, the pipeline report or pulling six files into one. You set up a folder Claude can work in, describe the job in plain English, drop in this week’s files and approve each step. By the end of the morning Claude has done one real round of your job, and you know how to set up the next one.

Needs a paid Claude plan and the Claude desktop app installed before the day, because Claude can only work in your folders on paid plans. If IT manages your laptop, ask them first.

Afternoon: Dashboards, decks and one-pagers
1:30pm to 4:45pm
Build reports people read, without losing another evening to PowerPoint. You describe what you need, Claude builds the first version, you fix the words and send it. In one afternoon you make a six-slide deck, a clickable dashboard, a working calculator and a print-ready poster, all on your own laptop. No designer, no code. A free Claude account will get you started.

Your laptop and charger, your Claude login, and something from your own work: a weekly job and this week’s files for the morning, a report, poster or tool you keep putting off for the afternoon. Copies, not originals, with personal details removed.
