Go-to-Market Workshop
Description
You’ve built something that works. But who will actually pay for it, and how do you reach them?
Join Collider, UniSC Innovation and Innovate Moreton Bay for a practical, interactive go-to-market workshop designed to help early-stage founders turn customer assumptions into real conversations and action.
Facilitated by Anders Carlsson, this session will move beyond business models and theory to focus on the practical execution of finding and engaging your first customers.
Event details
Date: Thursday 17 September 2026
Workshop: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Location: Collider, UniSC Innovation Centre
Cost: Free
What we’ll explore
During the workshop, you’ll work on your own venture to:
• Identify your first target customers and how to reach them
• Prepare for meaningful customer conversations
• Understand what questions to ask and what signals to listen for
• Distinguish genuine commercial interest from polite encouragement
• Turn customer conversations into clear next steps
This won’t be a long presentation. Expect short practical insights, working time, peer discussion and opportunities to apply what you learn directly to your venture.
What you’ll leave with
By the end of the session, you’ll have a simple go-to-market action plan identifying:
My first target customer is…
I will reach them by…
The conversation I need to have is…
The evidence I am looking for is…
Within the next fortnight I will…
Who should attend?
This workshop is designed for startup founders and early-stage ventures who are developing or testing a product, service or technology and want to get clearer on who their customers are and how to reach them.
Whether you’re preparing for your first customer conversation or already speaking with potential customers but struggling to understand whether interest is genuine, this session will give you practical tools to move forward.
The workshop will be followed by networking, with an opportunity to continue conversations and connect with founders from the Creative HQ Startup Lab and the broader innovation community.
Spaces are limited. Register now to secure your place.
