Go With 'Yin' - Half Day Spring Retreat
Event description
In a world that has become extremely YANG, with our minds being stimulated 24/7, its so important to slow down to find the pause. Calm the nervous system and get into your YIN.
Come and find some peace, relaxation, and patience to slow down.
Our body wisdom is yin, our intuition, the certainty that things take time and that’s ok. Our emotional needs are held in the body, and we rarely have the capacity to listen to it anymore since we are usually so mind-centered, take time to drop into the heart as you enjoy 3.5 hours of relaxation just for you.
Yin Yoga is a suitable practice for everyone that promotes physical, mental, and emotional health and complements whatever other active exercises that you do.
You can slow down this spring and soften into balance. The 'On' button can sometimes be permanently switched on. The use of unnatural lighting used to extend our productivity means our body's clock gets confused and does not get to respond to nature's call to rest. Most of us are overworking, it's not our job we are often spending long hours on devices and social media. We are not giving ourselves enough 'yin' - receptive, quiet, and passive time.
We invite you to join us at Riverdell as we provide a wonderful opportunity to go 'with - yin' with a half-day retreat that will leave you feeling relaxed and nourished inside and out. Bookings are essential.
Please bring along your Yoga Mat (although one can be provided), wear loose, comfortable clothing (layers are best) and a warm blanket.

Facilitated by Jasmine & Rebecca
Resident Yoga Teacher Jasmine-I first started my journey at Riverdell teaching the morning Vinyasa & Hatha Yoga. I now work collaboratively to coordinate the wonderful events in which are facilitated here, whilst teaching a Hatha and Yin yoga class. I teach to not just help the physical but the mental and emotional. I love people leaving my classes feeling recharged and calm. My practice has helped me grow stronger both on and off the mat. Yoga reminds me to live each moment more mindfully. I love being creative and bringing like minded individuals together. Through workshops, events and retreats.
