Gods of Death Series - Serqet & Neith

Event description

Join me for the first in a series of workshops dedicated to the gods and goddesses of death and death rites designed to honour the sacredness of death through ancient mythos. We will spend the morning in communion with Serqet scorpion goddess of Egypt - "She who makes the mouth Breath" who presides over venomous bites and stings and has the power to heal or support the embrace of death.

The afternoon will be spent with Neith - "She who Opens the Way", goddess of creation, war, weaving and funerary rites. During both goddess connections I will be sharing some of their mythos, aspects and correspondences a guiding you through a journey with them. Egyptian magick has been part of my life for many years and several lifetimes. I have had the honour of visiting Egypt twice in this life on sacred pilgrimages and undergone initiations into the sacred temples there.

As a Death Doula and Rites of Passage Ceremonialist, creating conversations around death is important to me. Embracing Death supports us to live life to the fullest.
