Hello @FirstName

Thank you for registering for our @EventName at Point Danger. We look forward to welcoming you to a fun and rewarding morning of citizen science, conservation and community action.

In order to prepare for the land-based East Coast Dolphin Watch Survey workshop, please access this link to watch the recorded webinar by our lead researcher Dr Liz Hawkins. The webinar outlines the basic biology, ecology and conservation of the resident dolphins in the South East Queensland region, along with our recent findings and what we know about these animals. It will briefly explain how you can get involved in our East Coast Dolphin Watch Citizen Science program to help monitor the region's populations. You will also find the booklet and data sheet here. If you would like to have a hard copy of the booklet, make sure you print it before the workshop.

On Saturday, during our land-based workshop, we are going to explain and demonstrate the protocols to be followed during the East Coast Dolphin Watch Surveys. In addition to applying these survey protocols, participants will practice entering the survey data on the website form.
