Terra Firma Dining & Ember are firing the pit for an Open Fire Dining Experience on the Gold Coast

Ember by the Internationally renowned Chef Aaron Teece and Chef Charly Pretet founder of Terra Firma Dining are teaming up to offer a wonderful Open Fire Dining Experience in Collaboration at Raba Urban Farm in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast.

This humble style of dining embraces back to basic cooking techniques, using only fire and the best local ingredients.

But this is more than just your average barbecue. Our menu will push the boundaries of what you thought was possible to cook with just an open flame: Fair game wild Venison, Rocky point aquaculture Cobia, Local lamb, Brooklet springs chickens and vegetables from the farm.

The combination of the delicious aromas and the ability to interact with the Chefs at work make for an unforgettable experience

Come and join us for a beautiful day in great outdoors to enjoy a plate of delicious locally sourced produce, slowly cooked for 8 hours over the open fire.

Bring your picnic rugs, cutlery and appetite for good food and settle in for the day in the paddock whilst listening to the chilled vibes of those participating in the open mic sessions.

A bar will be set up in the paddock to serve locally brewed Beers ($8-$9) and wines and Prosecco - buy the glass ($10) - ($50 Bottle)

If you want to join us and see more of the cooking process and interact with the chefs, we recommend arriving earlier in the morning as at midday we are mostly getting ready to slice and serve the food.

Hash roasted sweet potato Salad, hummus and native dukkah / Smoked Cabbage and farm leaf slaw with burnt citrus dressing

Homemade Dukkah / Chimichurri Sauce / Spiced yogurt Sauce

Smoked Pineapple and coal roasted pears, Dulce de Leche caramel sauce, cinnamon crumble, fresh mint

Child lunch (2-12yrs) - $20

Includes fire roasted Lamb or Chicken with seasonal vegetables and slaw and our homemade ketchup

Children can choose between lamb and chicken + Vegetables and homemade ketchup

Refund policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather and Covid may disrupt our fire pit plans. Should Government imposed restrictions, inclement weather or fire bans affect the date of the event, your ticket will be refund only if the organisers of the event decide to cancel.
