Australia’s biggest regional short film festival is on tour and headed for a small town near you!
The Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival are excited to bring their ‘Golden Evenings’ regional tour to Rainbow Beach on Saturday 15 June 2024. Come along to share an evening of short films and live music that is guaranteed to warm up your winter.
The evening will feature live music from indie music duo ‘Soul Tree Union’ of Paully Rivers and Kate Marian Rose. Marrying Kate’s love of contemporary folk music and storytelling to Paul’s passion for beats and rock grooves, their jam is a union of satisfying melodies, lilting lyrics and a stage presence that effuses a love for what they do.
Then get comfortable and enjoy a feature-length collection of short films from all over the world, hand-picked by the experts at Heart of Gold in what is set to be a truly epic journey of storytelling.
The Golden Evening regional tour includes the following events:
- Friday 7 June - Gympie, 6pm at AICM Channon Street Gympie
- Saturday 15 June - Rainbow Beach, 6pm at Rainbow Beach Community Hall
- Saturday 6 July - Kandanga, 6pm at Kandanga Public Hall
- Friday 12 July - Pomona, 6pm at Majestic Theatre
- Sunday 28 July - Gympie, 4pm at AICM Channon Street Gympie
