The University of Canterbury invites you to attend the Golden Graduates Morning Tea, as part of the UC 150th Anniversary celebrations of 2023.

This event is for our Golden Graduates (65 years and older)
and is a great opportunity to reunite with old friends, reminisce, and explore the ‘Treasures of the University of Canterbury’ with Associate Professor Chris Jones.

RSVP by Friday 20 October 2023, however do not delay in registering as this is a popular event that always sells out.

Speaker Bio:
Chris Jones is a medieval historian whose research explores the history of political thought and concepts of identity, with a particular focus upon France in the 13th and 14th centuries. He also explores legacies of the medieval and Early Modern world in Aotearoa, leading him to edit Treasures of the University of Canterbury Library, and Magna Carta and New Zealand – History, Law and Politics in Aotearoa. He is the Co-Director of the Canterbury Roll Project, and the Director of Aotearoa’s Wicked Bible Project.
