FAQs
- What is a Gong Bath?
A gong bath is a deeply immersive sound experience where you are surrounded by the rich vibrations and resonances of the gongs. There is no water involved — you simply lie down, get comfortable and allow the sound to wash over you, inviting deep relaxation, stillness and a greater sense of awareness.
- What are the benefits of a Gong Bath?
Gong baths can support deep relaxation, ease stress and anxiety, quieten the mind and create space for emotional release and inner reflection. Many people leave feeling calmer, lighter, more grounded and deeply rested. Every experience is unique.
- Do I need any previous experience?
Not at all. There is nothing to learn, achieve or get right. Simply come as you are, settle into a comfortable position and allow yourself to receive the experience.
- What should I bring?
Please bring a yoga mat, thick blanket or doona to lie on, a pillow, an eye mask if you have one, and anything else that helps you feel warm and comfortable. A bolster or cushion beneath your knees can be lovely. We recommend bringing water too.
- Are the gongs loud?
The gongs produce a wide range of sounds, from soft, subtle vibrations to powerful, expansive waves of sound. We play with sensitivity and care. If you're particularly sensitive to sound, please let us know beforehand so we can help you find a comfortable position.
- What should I do after a Gong Bath?
Give yourself a little time to integrate the experience. Drink plenty of water, move gently and, if possible, allow some quiet space afterwards. You may notice a sense of calm or subtle shifts in awareness over the following days.
