Event description

A Neighbourhood Dining Series

Good Gathering, is a new series of community-focused dining events that prioritise connections and storytelling over profit.

These communal dinners are being held in homes and community halls and will bring guests together with creatives and makers and local producers.

Each Good Gathering will feature a specially-curated seasonal menu laden with fresh, locally-sourced produce. And each event will invite special guests with fascinating stories to tell over a shared meal.

A portion of each ticket sale from Good Gathering will go to the Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council

You may arrive as strangers but will leave as friends.

Experience the transformative power of food at the next Good Gathering event: Landscape, Place, and Neighbourhood.

Join us for an intimate supper club, where Georgina Reid (Wonderground) and Christina McLean (TRADE the MARK) are our special guests, exploring the significance of place and how it inspires and connects us. Discover the joys of fostering the community we aspire to be a part of, all while sharing a meal with newfound friends in the picturesque coastal setting of Patonga, on Guringai land.

We are delighted to have Tristan Fraser (Rigatoni for Toni) curate a five-course meal, drawing inspiration from the coastal landscape and featuring producers from across the Coast and as a sweet finale, Hayley Thorncraft (Burnt Honey Bakery) will treat attendees to a specially crafted dessert. Accompanying all of this will be wine pairings carefully selected by Mike Bennie (P&V Liquor Merchants). An unmissable gathering like no other.

Be captivated by an engaging conversation with Georgina, Christina, Tristan, Hayley and Mike, delving deeper into the significance of place and its profound influence on our lives. Join us for a night of delightful culinary discoveries, meaningful connections, and celebration of community in the breathtaking backdrop of Patonga.
