Kate Chaney, Independent Member for Curtin, is hosting a Good Infill Forum from 6:00pm to 7:45pm on Wednesday 19 June 2024 at Claremont Oval. This forum builds on last year’s Housing Forums. Kate hopes the Good Infill Forum will broaden the conversation beyond simply pro and anti-development to explore how infill can be done well and in a way to enhance communities and address future challenges.

The globally recognised, Professor Peter Newman will speak on why we need good infill. Josh Byrne, environmental scientist, landscape designer and ABC TV Gardening Australia presenter, will address how medium density infill and nature can co-exist. Kellie McGivern, design manager at property developer, Hesperia, will address what are features of good infill that we can see at Project level in and around Curtin.
