Good luck to the Singer - Feat. Ruby Slipperz!

What do bikie rallies, country pubs, breakfast radio, local politics, clown fights, and a 42-year marriage have in common?

Ruby.

Join Ruby and Guitarist,  Richard  Gibson as they take you on a hilarious musical journey through one extraordinary life in entertainment.

Featuring unforgettable songs including Yesterday's Hero, Fire, Jackson, Stand By Me, Leather and Lace, Hurts So Good, Brand New Key, Keep On Smiling and more, this is storytelling at its very best — funny, heartfelt, outrageous and completely true.

From leaving school to chasing the dream with her first band, Ruby shares the highs, the lows and the moments that nearly ended in disaster.

You'll hear about:

• The bikie rally where survival depended on finishing the set.

• The country pub brawl that became a family reunion.

• The radio years where chaos was considered normal.

• Life in politics where the clowns weren't always wearing makeup.

• And the remarkable love story that has lasted more than four decades.

With laughter, music and a healthy dose of Queensland country wisdom, Good Luck To The Singer is a celebration of resilience, friendship, family and the madness of show business.

Come along for a night of songs, stories and memories you'll be talking about long after the final curtain.
