Your club plays a critical role in supporting the physical and mental health of your members and local community.
Join Good Sports and the Northern Territory
Government (NTG) to discover how you can inspire and support your members and community to lead
a healthy lifestyle and create a strong, positive sporting culture.
Session outline:
6:30pm – 7:00pm
Hear from the Good Sports team on how your club can:
- Take the guesswork out of complying with legal requirements
- Attract new funding and submit winning grant application
- Bring in new members and volunteers
- Tackle tricky topics like alcohol, illicit drugs and smoking.
- Plus, hear from local Good Sports clubs and associations about how they’ve created safer environments and club cultures for players, volunteers, supporters and officials.
7:00pm – 7:30pm
Hear from NTG Sport Integrity & Inclusion Officer Don Boyanton on:
- Member protection
- Managing poor sideline behaviour
- Safeguarding children
- Gambling in sport
- Concussions.
7:30pm – 8:00pm
- Opportunity for 1:1 support and networking.
This event is free, but registrations are essential. Dinner will be provided.
