    Event description

Slagatha Christie are saying “goodbye for now” and dropping an album on their way out!

Join your favourite slags to celebrate seven years of authentic Canberran rock n roll and welcome ‘Beware of the Flowers’ into the world.

Coming along for the ride by doing a pincer manoeuvre from both sides of the Hume are best pals Drive Safe (Naarm) and Ruth Lorelle (Dharawal)!

Born in Canberra as an ode to the Hume Highway, Drive Safe draws from a range of influences, from indie rock to synth-pop, and the result is a nostalgic DIY sound that touches on its Melbourne roots.

Ruth Lorelle writes and produces alternative synth pop music on Dharawal land. With intimate lyrics about their experiences as a queer artist, Ruth’s song hold the listener through all the every human emotion; from love and grief, to nostalgia and melancholia.
