Event description

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The GoodRunnings 6/12 is GoodRunnings’s SECOND annual 6/12 hour ultra (and third 6 hour ultra) – a time-based event that offers participants the additional challenge of running in the warmer weather. Offered in conjunction with the Reindeer Run, participants enjoy a 2.5km loop along the river, a quiet scene only a few hundred metres from the bustle of Glenelg. One aid station is present at the start/finish of the 2.5km loop.

Participants will be turned around every 3 hours.

This event will be AIMs measured. We are applying for AURA listing, AIMs certification, and IAU labels.

AID STATION:

There will be 1 aid station on the course. It is present at the start/finish of each loop and is passed every 2.5km. The aid station will have water, sports drink, soft drink, snacks, lollies, and first aid. Ice, zooper doopers, and food will also be available. The food list will become available closer to the day.

BIB COLLECTION, RACE BRIEFING, & START LOCATION:

Bib collection is exclusively available on the day, starting a half hour before the event commences. The race briefing begins promptly 15 minutes prior to the event’s start time. The start/finish line is present at the end of Anderson Ave, down the street from Glenelg Baseball Club.
