Welcome to GoodVibe Day, a day wellness retreat offering you the opportunity to engage in sound, breath and embodiment practices, leaving you rejuvenated, relaxed, and connected to your body. The GoodVibe community will gather at 5 Flinders Drive, Mornington 3931 (Mornington Park) on Saturday, 12 August, 2023 from 9:30am-5pm. From sound healing to breathwork and embodiment practices, our experienced facilitators will guide you through these sacred modalities that will help you connect with your inner self and have you leaving feeling connected, grounded and whole. GoodVibe Day is an incredible day to fill your cup!

Session Descriptions:

9:30am Opening Ceremony featuring Queen of Acknowledegments: Join us for a truly special opening ceremony at GoodVibe Day, where we pay homage to the land we gather on and honor the indigenous owners whose land we are grateful to practice on. Led by the esteemed leader, Queen of Acknowledgements, this ceremony offers a profound opportunity to connect with land, culture and people, grounding ourselves in ancient wisdom and spirit. Through this ceremony, we express our deep respect and gratitude to the traditional custodians of this land, creating a space of unity, respect, and reverence for all as we gather on sacred ground.

10:00am Ecstatic Dance: Set your body free and unleash your inner dancer in this liberating and high-energy session. Move to the rhythm of the music without judgment or inhibition, allowing yourself to express and explore your unique dance expression in a safe and supportive environment.

11:00am Sacred Cacao Ceremony: Immerse yourself in the ancient tradition of sacred ceremonial cacao as you sip on this heart-opening elixir to guide you into a deep state of relaxation. In this grounding cacao ceremony ritual, we'll weave a tapestry of gratitude, connection, and renewed inspiration, leaving you with a deep sense of inner peace throughout GoodVibe Day.

11:30am Breathwork: Breathe. Release. Transform. Led by our expert facilitator, this session will guide you through intentional breathing techniques to tap into your inner wisdom, release stagnant energy, and create space for profound transformation. Immerse yourself in this sacred practice and experience the power of breath to unlock your full potential.

12:30pm Ayurvedic Lunch Enjoy a vegan, gluten-free Ayurvedic catered lunch by the always delicious Nourish Naivedya. If you've come to our previous events you know that Deepah's food is yummy, warm and life-giving!

2:00pm Soul and Sound Bath: Immerse yourself in a harmonious blend of soothing vibrations, enchanting melodies, and healing energy. Led by our talented facilitators, this session will transport you to a state of deep relaxation, allowing you to release tension, restore balance, and awaken your inner harmony. Let the gentle waves of sound wash over you, rejuvenating your spirit and leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.

3:30pm Kirtan Chanting and Closing Ceremony: Join us in a joyous celebration of sacred sounds and heartfelt chants as we close out GoodVibe Day in ecstatic Kirtan! Immerse yourself in the transformative power of devotional music, allowing it to uplift your soul and create a sense of unified connection. This closing ceremony will honor our collective experience, offering a moment of reflection, gratitude, and deep connection. Come, be part of this harmonious gathering and let the vibrations of Kirtan fill your heart with love and pure bliss.

Facilitator Descriptions:

Nartarsha Johan Lilly Bamblett (@queenacknowledgements): Queen of Acknowledgements provides a safe space and opportunity for all people to heal through the connection to self, culture & country, bettering the mind, body, spirit & earth in return. Nartarsha uses storytelling in different ways to express herself & connect others to Indigenous culture & the country through ancient ritual and ceremony.

Uma Neave (@uma.neave.yoga): Uma is a highly sought-after breathwork facilitator renowned for her expertise in guiding transformative breathwork journeys. With a deep understanding of the breath's power to heal and expand consciousness, Uma skillfully creates a safe and supportive space for participants to explore their breath, release emotional blockages, and access profound states of relaxation and inner clarity. Her intuitive guidance and compassionate presence make her sessions an illuminating experience that leaves participants feeling rejuvenated, grounded, and deeply connected to the transformative potential of their own breath.

Foxy Feelgood (@foxy_feelgood): Foxy Feelgood is a dynamic collaboration between Jus and Shell, two extraordinary facilitators who offer an array of transformative experiences. Together, they bring forth the magic of Soul + Sound ceremonies, Guided Meditation, Sound Healing, and Light Language journeys. Jus and Shell's unique blend of talents creates a harmonious fusion of soulful wisdom, healing vibrations, and profound energetic shifts. Their passion and expertise create a safe and nurturing space for exploration, self-discovery, and deep healing.

Oya Krishna Chaitanya (@oya.krishna): Oya Krishna Chaitanya is a seasoned somatic wellness practitioner, whose passion for movement and meditation shines through in the Ecstatic Dance session. Krishna's expertise in facilitating uninhibited expression and his deep understanding of the body-mind connection will guide you on a liberating journey where you can unleash your authentic self and experience the transformative power of movement.

Nataraj Chaitannya (@nataraj.chaitanya): Nataraj is an expert conveyor of yogic wisdom and practice. With decades of experience as a teacher of yoga and devotional music, Nataraj is a true master of his craft. His melodious voice, combined with his deep understanding of sacred chants and mantras, creates an immersive and transformative experience for all participants. Nataraj's presence radiates warmth, compassion, and a profound connection to the divine.

Max Jared (@maxjared): Max Jared is a true virtuoso when it comes to sound healing and the practice of Kirtan chanting. Through Max's soul-stirring voice and skillful use of ancient mantras, you'll be transported into a state of transcendence, immersing yourself in the healing power of sound and experiencing the profound connection between music and the soul.

What's included in the ticket price?

Each ticket includes access to GoodVibe Day events, onsite toilets and water.

Do I have to attend all sessions?

Everything at GoodVibe day is an invitation. We welcome you to join the entire day to experience the carefully curated energetic practices offered during the retreat, and also support you in taking whatever time and space you need. You know your body best. If you need a break or some time to walk in the park, we support you!

Will I need to bring my own yoga mat, bolsters, blankets, and seat cushion?

Yes. We recommend you bring your own yoga mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters, keep cup, plates, cutlery, etc (i.e anything you'd need to engage in sound, breath and embodiment practices AAAND be as sustanable as possible by bringing reusable containers). You know your own body! Bring what you need to feel comfortable throughout the day!

Where is GoodVibe Day located?

Mornington Park Pavilion (5 Flinders Drive, Mornington VIC 3931

Will there be shade/rain cover?

Yes! We will practice in a large beautiful (and heated) hall, so you and your personal items will be safe and dry no matther what the weather!

What is the parking situation?

There are toilets in our hall as well as public toilets outside in Mornington Park.

Is GoodVibe Day wheelchair accessible?

Yes. We will work to accomodate as many differently abled magical souls as possible, and aspire to make GoodVibe Days as accessible as possible. We always welcome your guidance on what we can do to improve how we care for our guests.
