Google Educators Conference

The purpose is to upskill our valuable high school educators by presenting emerging technologies and ways to engage students with them so students can be better equipped for the needs of twenty-first-century learning.
The conference will centre on showcasing cutting-edge, tangible applications and their use in a learning context.
Teachers will engage with a range of digital technologies and learn techniques to incorporate technology and computational thinking in their classrooms and learn to link applications to the theory.

The day starts with a keynote speaker, followed by  demonstrations, collection of workshops, and networking expo will focus on preparing New Zealand educators for teaching computer science, programming and technology subjects in New Zealand schools.
