Price $75 AUD + BF Get Tickets

Event description

We are delighted you are confirmed to attend our special day trip to Waulinbakh (Gorton Forest) Sanctuary on Wednesday 29 May. This visit offers the opportunity to explore this incredible woodland, with its towering Blue Gums and trickling creeks, and hear more about the results of the sanctuary’s inaugural biodiversity surveys and plans for the future.

The event will include morning tea and refreshments on arrival, and a catered lunch.

Date: Wednesday 29 May, 2024

Time: 10.00am - 2.00pm

Address: 1224 Mill Creek Road, Stroud NSW 2425

Please note that Mill Creek Road is a well-maintained, unsealed road and the property driveway requires high ground clearance. We suggest bringing an all-wheel-drive car, if possible. Alternatively, you can park at the entrance and an AWC staff member will collect you.

Please also dress appropriately for a bushwalk with sturdy footwear and bring a water bottle.

We can’t wait to show you the progress we’ve made out on our sanctuaries and the positive outcomes your support is generating for Australia’s threatened wildlife and wild places. We are so pleased that you’ll be visiting Gorton Forest and will have the opportunity to see first-hand the results of your investment in AWC.

For all visits to our sanctuaries, AWC asks guests to pay an amount that will cover the cost of the event. In this way, AWC ensures that our donation income is utilised for wildlife conservation.

This event visit has a maximum of 12 guests.
