Goterra Tour: Tackling Food Waste with Insects

Join a behind-the-scenes tour at the Goterra Barangaroo facility where you'll see a world-first project using AI, robotics and insect larvae to process food waste.

Hidden in the basement of the Lendlease building, Goterra’s unit processes a high volume of commercial and retail food waste at Barangaroo using black soldier fly larvae. The waste is converted into high-quality insect protein and soil conditioner in a silent unit.

Tour details:

• There will be two tour times where Goterra will take two small groups: 5:15PM and 6:15PM
• Attendees to meet outside Winghaus Barangaroo bar and be taken on a 40 minute tour to the Goterra facility
• The tour will end back at Winghaus with time for 15 mins of questions before the next tour starts
• Attendees are welcome to stay at the bar afterwards to connect with other attendees (drinks to be purchased separately)
