Goulburn Valley Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

On behalf of the Goulburn Valley Chinese Association, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival celebration!

After a quiet few years since COVID, we are thrilled to be officially reconnecting with our community. We can't think of a better way to mark our return than by sharing this joyful festival of togetherness with you.

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

• Date: Saturday, 11th October 2025

• Time: 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM

• Where: South Shepparton Community Centre (290 Archer St, Shepparton VIC 3630)

• Admission: Free

Join us for an afternoon of traditional festivities, including:

• Lantern Making Workshop: Create your own beautiful lantern, a central part of the festival

• Mooncake Tasting: Sample a variety of these delicious seasonal treats

• Karaoke: Sing along to your favourite songs and enjoy some Chinese classics

• Photo Station with Traditional Chinese Costumes: Try out the elegant traditional Chinese costumes and capture a special memory at our themed photo booth.

• Festival Related Trivia Session with Gifts: Test your knowledge in our fun trivia challenge about the Mid-Autumn Festival and win a small gift.

• Games & Activities: Enjoy a variety of lighthearted games and activities designed for the whole family to play together.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience Chinese culture, learn about the festival's beautiful traditions of family reunion and thanksgiving, and enjoy a fun afternoon for all ages.
