Equip Council Members with the practical knowledge to understand and implement existing Delegation of Authority processes in the LEQ System.

2. Overview of our current Delegations of Authority

Financial delegations – approval limits, reporting and capital expenditure.
Operational delegations – staffing, recruitment and employment contract renegotiations.
Strategic and curriculum – decision over academic programs and curriculum changes.
Services and procurements – engagement of service providers.
Litigation – commencing or settling litigation, including execution of deeds of settlement by seal.
