Training for GPs - Pathways to Assistance in Management of Your Patient with Brain Injury
Event description
Pathways to Assistance in Management of Your Patient with Brain Injury - presented by Brain Injury SA and Andersons Solicitors.
This evening is for GP's who want to increase their understanding and knowledge of acquired and traumatic brain injury, and will give attendees a greater understanding on how to support current patients who have a confirmed diagnosis of brain injury, and an understanding on when to refer for further support.
Throughout the evening, this training will cover tips and strategies for effective communication and support of patients with an ABI, building your understanding of post concussion syndrome and when and how to refer for help, and will increase the knowledge of the types of legal and financial assistance a patient with a confirmed or suspected ABI or TBI may be eligible for.
Ticket includes training from experts in the fields of legal, neuro and concussion, an evening meal and soft beverages, plus opportunities to network with peers and presenters and to ask questions relevant to your experiences.
A cash bar will also be made available.
