Grad Girls 2025 Program Registration

Registrations for the Grad Girls 2025 Program are now open!

Registrations close on the 10th March or sooner if program spaces are filled.

The Women4STEM 20th anniversary 2025 program will be bigger than ever before with more opportunities for participants to learn and grow through a series of both in-person, sponsor hosted events and virtual events. Over the course of 8 months, successful registrants will experience events hosted by our returning sponsors, such as Victoria Police, Motorola, REA Group, Leidos, Logicalis and more. Our virtual events are designed to give you more ways to meet your graduation criteria and teach you valuable skills that will help you on your journey to securing a grad position, post university/TAFE.

Entry Criteria:

You must satisfy every one of the following criteria to join the Grad Girls program in 2025. You will have to answer questions as you progress through the registration process shortly.

• You MUST reside in Victoria for the duration of the program
• You MUST identify as female or non-binary
• You MUST be enrolled to study at University/TAFE/other STEM related course that is longer than 2 months in duration.
• You MUST be studying a STEM related qualification (science, technology, engineering or math)
• For students studying another type of qualification, your major/minor or electives MUST be in a STEM related subject. For example: A business degree with a major or minor in business information systems or A commerce degree with elective in computer studies etc.
• Students who have recently graduated may be eligible to register if you graduated not more than six months prior to the start of the 2025 program. For example:
• A student who graduated in August 2024 is eligible to join Grad Girls 2025 program  
• A student who graduated in July 2024 is not eligible to join Grad Girls 2025 program

Graduation Criteria:

Entry to the Grad Girls program is highly sought after and the value you will receive form being a part of the 2025 cohort is vast. We wish we could take everyone, however, due to venue capacity limitations, spaces are limited. We ask that you review these graduation criteria carefully and ensure that you are committed to putting in a reasonable effort to get the most out of this program. Like anything, you will get out what you put in. In order to graduate from the Grad Girls program and be eligible for any awards and prizes, you will need to meet the following criteria throughout the program. We have set the program up for your success and want to see every one of our participants graduate. If after looking at the above event list and reading the criteria below, you know that you will be unlikely to meet these criteria, please DO NOT register and take a space from someone else who can. Again, spaces are strictly limited. 

At certain points of the program we will review participants activity and attendance and anyone who has not made a satisfactory effort to engage with the program, may be cut from the program. 

To Graduate and be eligible for the prizes and awards at the end of the year, YOU MUST-AT A MINIMUM

• Attend at least one in-person sponsor event
• Attend at least two virtual events
• Attend the Kick Off event, Career & Networking Night, and Graduation Night- Compulsory
• Fill out & return the post event survey after every event you attend, both in-person and virtual.
• Have a completed LinkedIn profile and CV/Resume before graduation of the program

-Failure to meet these minimum requirements will result in disqualification from graduation.

-Failure to attend an in-person sponsor event that you have registered a ticket for, with no notice or less than 48 hours notice, will result in disqualification from graduation.

-Three no-shows without notice for any event you have registered for, both in-person and virtual will result in disqualification.

Disqualified participants may still attend all virtual events and the graduation dinner but you will not be eligible for any prizes or awards.

Registration Fee

To enable us to expand our resources and offer more events and take on more students, we have introduced an annual registration fee of $25 per participant. This will be paid at the end of this registration process. It is a once off payment for the year of $25 only. Everything else associated with the program is FREE as always and you will not be asked to pay anything else for the duration of the year. Should you return for the 2026 program, the registration fee would be paid again at the start of that year.

Please note: The registration fee is non-refundable if you are cut from the program due to non-engagement, are disqualified, are removed due to a breech of the code of conduct or if you willingly decide to withdraw from the program. So, again, please ensure you are willing and able to commit to reaching your minimum graduation criteria and that you satisfy ALL of the entry requirements before proceeding with your registration.
