Your first step into a STEM career starts here.

Finishing your studies and not sure what comes next? You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Grad Girls is a nine-month program for women and gender-diverse STEM tertiary students and recent graduates. We help you build the knowledge, confidence and connections to step into a STEM career on your own terms. Along the way, we’re playing our part in closing the gender gap that still exists in our industries.

Nearly 1,800 students supported over ten years
80% of this year’s participants feel career ready
40+ industry partners, many of whom have hired from our cohorts

What’s it all about?
From February to October 2027, you’ll learn together as one community, guided by people already working in industry. You’ll step into real workplaces and hear from hiring managers and industry professionals. You’ll refine your CV and LinkedIn profile, learn to tell your own story and back yourself. And you’ll practise networking, interviews and public speaking in safe spaces, designed so everyone can take part in a way that works for them and grow without judgement.

What’s included

Go behind the scenes at leading organisations through in-person events and workshops
Join in-person and virtual sessions and community events
Build your network with peers and industry professionals
Develop the professional and personal skills employers are looking for
Get on the radar of partners offering internships and graduate roles

How to register
The Grad Girls Sydney program will run from February to October 2027. You can join any time before June 2027, but the earlier you register, the more you’ll get out of it.

Click register, follow the prompts, and upload your study enrolment confirmation or proof of study completion if you've graduated. Our team will verify that your registration meets the program eligibility (please allow at least a week). Once done, we’ll send you a welcome pack with everything you need to get started. Note: welcome packs go out in December ahead of our February kick-off. If you register after that, we’ll send yours once you’re verified.

You don’t need to wait until you feel perfectly ready. You already belong.
