Description

Welcome Class of 2026

This year, your Graduation Ball will be held on Friday 4 December, 6pm – 11.30pm, at the Ellerslie Event Centre.

For 72 years, the St Cuthbert's Old Girls’ Association has hosted the Graduation Ball to celebrate the graduation from school and officially welcome them as our newest members of our Association.

Tickets

Tickets are $205 per person (the graduate also requires a ticket), with up to three tickets total available per graduate. If you would like to apply for additional tickets for your family, please email Sarah Vokes at vicepresident.oga@stcuthberts.school.nz with your request for additional tickets.

A special EARLY BIRD price of $185.00 is extended until 11.55pm on Sunday 18 October.

This is an adult event and is not suitable for children under 17 years of age or current St Cuthbert's College students (including siblings). Partners are entirely optional and, in recent years, the majority of graduates have chosen to attend without one.

The ticket price includes the graduation ceremony, seated buffet dinner, professional photography, non-alcoholic drinks and a DJ. A full cash bar will also be available during the evening. Photographers will be onsite throughout the event.

As the Ball is run entirely by the Old Girls’ Association, tickets are not able to be charged to school accounts and must be purchased directly via Humanitix.

Dress Code

Formal evening wear is required for the event.

In keeping with tradition, it is encouraged that the graduates wear long white or pale coloured dresses or pant suits, or cultural attire.

Graduation groups

Graduates will cross the stage in small groups of two, three or four. Please nominate which students you would like to graduate with and make sure you communicate with and confirm your group with the people you have nominated. When selecting your graduation group, we encourage everyone to be thoughtful and inclusive so that all graduates can enjoy this special moment.

Seating & Table Allocation

When booking, please specifically nominate who you would like to be seated with during the dinner and event.  Most tables seat 10-12 people.

If you do not have a preference, please leave this blank, and we will arrange a table group for you. All seating will be arranged on a best endeavours basis.

Dietary Requirements

Please include any dietary requirements when purchasing your tickets. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, provided they are advised at the time of booking.

Graduation Ball Rehearsal

There will be a rehearsal for the Year 13 Students graduating at 2.30-3.30pm on Thursday 3 December at the Ellerslie Event Centre.  This is a requirement for all those students attending the graduation event.

Waitlist

A waitlist may be necessary due to the large cohort of girls and the capacity of the venue.

Please email Sarah Vokes at vicepresident.oga@stcuthberts.school.nz with the number of additional tickets you would like to purchase, and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

We look forward to seeing you there!
