Grade 3 End-of-Year Celebration 2026
Description
Aquaduck Adventure + Family Picnic & BBQ
What better way to celebrate the end of Grade 3 than an afternoon of fun with friends and family!
We’re celebrating the end of the year with an Aquaduck Adventure, followed by plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed family picnic, BBQ, games, activities and a few prizes along the way.
EVENT DETAILS
Sunday 15 November 2026
11:00am – 3:30pm
Mooloolaba
THE AQUADUCK ADVENTURE
The Grade 3 students will be divided into two groups for their Aquaduck adventure:
Tour 1: approximately 12:00pm
Tour 2: approximately 2:00pm
Each Aquaduck tour runs for approximately one hour.
We will have two supervising adults travelling with the students.
While one group is out on the Aquaduck, the other students will remain with their families at the picnic enjoying the BBQ, games and activities before the groups swap over.
The Aquaduck takes the kids through Mooloolaba by road before splashing into the water for a cruise along the Mooloolah River and waterways. They’ll take in Mooloolaba Beach, Point Cartwright, the harbour and fishing trawlers, Minyama and the canals — and some children may even get the chance to sit in the Skipper’s Seat and have a turn driving the Aquaduck!
GRADE 3 STUDENT TICKET – $35 each
The Grade 3 student ticket includes private Aquaduck tour, BBQ food (sausages, bread, salad), games and activities with prizes.
LIMITED PLACES
Due to the capacity of our two private Aquaduck charters, places are limited.
The first 54 Grade 3 student tickets are $35 each and will be available on a first booked, first secured basis.
If these places sell out, any additional Aquaduck tickets will be $50 per Grade 3 student, subject to availability, as these will need to be arranged separately with Aquaduck.
Please RSVP by Friday 23 October 2026. If Parents can please book by this date so we can assess attendance, confirm our Aquaduck numbers and manage the booking and catering arrangements accordingly.
THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT
Parents, carers and siblings are very welcome to join us for the afternoon.
As the celebration is being held in an open public park, this is not a drop-off event. A parent or responsible carer must remain at the event and is responsible for their child while they are not participating in their supervised Aquaduck tour.
We’re keeping the picnic relaxed and easy.
We’d love families to bring along:
A picnic blanket or chairs
A plate of food to share with the group
Your own drinks and water bottles
Siblings and parents are very welcome to enjoy the picnic and shared food.
To help us plan, please include the number of parents/carers and siblings attending when you book your Grade 3 student's ticket, together with any dietary requirements or allergies we need to be aware of.
FAMILY PICNIC + GAMES
The afternoon will kick off from 11:00am, giving everyone time to settle in before the first Aquaduck group heads off.
Across the afternoon there’ll be BBQ food, shared picnic plates, games, activities and prizes, with plenty of time for the kids and families to enjoy being together.
We’ll wrap up at approximately 3:30pm.
We’re looking forward to a really fun and relaxed afternoon and a great way for our Grade 3 families to celebrate the end of the year together.
