Grainne Hunt duo with Jules Stewart - Her debut Australian tour

The National Celtic Folk Festival is thrilled to announce the return of Festival favourite, Grainne Hunt.

With “a voice like complex coffee”, Grainne Hunt wowed audiences across the Festival in 2025 with her compelling vocals and now she returns to Australia on her debut tour, proudly supported by Culture Ireland.

As one of Ireland' s most compelling vocalists and songwriters she has an extraordinary ability to blend raw emotion, commanding power, and a voice that stops audiences in their tracks.

Performing as a duo with San Diego’s Jules Stewart on drums and vocals, the pair create a sound that’s been compared to The Indigo Girls and Brandi Carlile - rich harmonies, heartfelt stories, and magnetic onstage chemistry. Together, they’ve been described as “the bi-continental queer folk duo you didn’t know you needed in your life.”

The pair will be joined by a respected festival performer of many years, Lucy Wise, to ensure this night is a night not to be missed. Lucy is a multi award-winning Australian singer-songwriter blending acoustic folk, roots and pop, whose heartfelt songwriting, intricate guitar work and warm stage presence have seen her tour internationally and earn major industry accolades.

The night will be presented at Anther Geelong Distillery, one of the Festival’s long standing partners. Enjoy an award winning spirit alongside the soulful sounds of these amazing women.
