GRAMMAR WOMEN
LEADERS AND GAME CHANGERS
Breakfast Seminar with Kate Wensley

Friday 6 November 2026 | 6.45 am to 9 am

Principal, Ms Jacinda Euler Welsh, and President of the Old Girls Association, Mrs Julie Caton (Cleghorn, 1981), invite you to join them for a special Grammar Women professional development and networking breakfast with Kate Wensley.

The Success Delusion: Behind the Frontlines of Elite Sport
What can elite sport teach us about ambition, performance and what it really means to succeed?

Kate Wensley has spent 15 years working at the highest levels of Australian sport. A registered psychologist, she is currently Team Psychologist for the Australian Women's Cricket Team and Psychology Lead for Australian Athletics, supporting elite athletes and teams as they prepare for the world's biggest stages.

She has previously held senior roles with the Australian Institute of Sport and Football Australia, including Team Psychologist for the Matildas, and has worked across Olympic and Paralympic sport.

Drawing on these experiences, Kate will explore what happens when the pursuit of success becomes all-consuming — and whether we can pursue excellence without losing sight of who we are beyond our achievements.

Her session will consider:

  • The expectations we inherit — the unspoken rules about what success should look like, what it promises us, and what changes when we define it for ourselves.

  • Performance and sustainable success — how to perform at your best while maintaining the capacity to thrive over the long term.

  • Success beyond the scoreboard — the role of identity, values and wellbeing in creating a fulfilling professional life.

Whether you are an emerging professional, established leader, entrepreneur, returning to work or navigating a career transition, this breakfast offers an opportunity to reflect on your definition of success and consider how you want to approach what comes next.

DATE: Friday 6 November 2026

TIME: 6.45 am for a prompt 7 am start. Breakfast and workshop will conclude at 8.30 am with an opportunity for further networking until 9 am.
