School of Law and Criminology Murdoch University.

Mary Anne's talk will reflect on Refugee Policy in Australia and the role of Local Activism

Associate Professor Mary Anne Kenny is based at the School of Law, Murdoch University. Associate Professor Kenny teaches and researches in the area of human rights, refugee, and immigration law. She is a legal practitioner and works closely with refugee non-government organisations and refugee communities. Her research interests lie in the intersection of refugee status determination and issues related to mental health.
