Grandparents' & Special Friends' Day 2025

We invite you to attend our annual Grandparents' & Special Friends' Day on Friday 20 June 2025. Please register all grandparents & special friends who will be attending this event before 3:00pm Wednesday 18 June otherwise we will not be able to cater for everyone.

Due to limited seating and capacity, we kindly ask that parents and younger siblings do not attend this event. If a grandparent or special friend requires assistance on the day, please contact the Event Organiser at booking.

As we expect a high volume of traffic at this event, we ask that you do not arrive for this event before 9:00am and if you have the ability to, we suggest you use other forms of transport e.g. carpooling, being dropped off, ride share or public transport. If any grandparents or special friends are unable to be dropped off, we ask that those who drive park in Car Park 2 (Primary Car Park) as this will be the best location to enter TLC for this event, though Car Park 1 (Main Admin) is also available.

Please be courteous and do no park in any of the neighbouring businesses’ car parks including the two family day cares and the Night Owl precinct.

9:00am | Arrival, Classroom Visits & Activities
Our Primary School classrooms will be open for you to enjoy displays and activities with our students. To ensure our students are not distracted, please arrive no earlier than 8:50am.

10:00am | Morning Tea on Primary Green
Our visitors will depart the classrooms for morning tea at 10:00am, followed by the students at 10:15am to sit down and relax with a cup of tea or coffee and a scone and enjoy morning tea with your grandchildren. A Gluten Free Banana Bread option will be available, please note this on tickets at checkout. Please note, scones are for grandparents & special friends only. Students can have special items ordered via Spriggy for morning tea. Please register all grandparents & special friends' for morning tea using the 'Register' button in the top right hand corner.

9:00am - 11:00am | Book Fair
Please visit our TLC Book Fair that will be located in the Library H1 Classroom. Grandparents and special friends will be able to purchase a book from the Book Fair that they will be able to take home or gift to their young person after the event. There will be cash and eftpos available and books will range from $15 to $40 with all proceeds supporting our TLC Library.
