As part of the Older People's Rights Service (OPRS) week-long series, "Prepare, Plan and Prevent against Elder Abuse" for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) education, we would like to invite you to:
Understanding Grandparents' Rights
Grandparents play a vital role in their grandchildren’s lives, but what happens when family circumstances change? This session explores the legal rights of grandparents, including their ability to maintain contact, seek care arrangements, and navigate processes when parents separate or are unable to care for their children. Whether you're a grandparent, family member, or someone interested in learning new things, this session will provide valuable information into pathways and support services available.
Session starts:
10 -11am - Presentation
11-11.30am – Light refreshments, information stalls and OPRS team and volunteers mingle and answers questions.
