Granny Square Crochet for Beginners

Want to make your own Granny square crochet blanket for those cooler winter nights? Why not join this crocheting workshop for beginners and learn the basic skills to start you on your DIY crochet blanket!
The Granny Square is a series of crochet clusters and chains in square form and often vary in colour.
In this 2 hour class, you will learn the basic stitches from an expert that will help you make a basic 'granny square' from scratch. All materials needed will be supplied.
Trainer Bio:
Leisa has always been creative and very interested in crafts and has being doing art and craft work all throughout her schooling years and now into her adult life. Leisa took up crocheting 8 years ago while she was working in the city and wanted to fill in her time while she was on the train. Leisa taught herself to crochet by following YouTube tutorials, and is now considered an advanced crocheter having completed many projects from easy levels to complicated projects - one even took her 6 months to finish.
Leisa has now started her own Crochet business called The Crochet Hut which is based in the South Eastern suburb of Berwick in Victoria.
Leisa is a very patient teacher and really demonstrates her passion for Crochet in her classes. Leisa is extremely knowledgeable and really knows her craft inside and out. Leisa's classes book out quickly and everyone always comes away learning a new skill and wanting to learn more. Leisa is also an active member of the Crochet Guild of Australia.
