Garden Reflexxx presents Grape Steak (2018-2023), a film directed by Jen Atherton and André Shannon
Pink Flamingo Cinema is hosting a screening of Grape Steak (2023) in Eora/Sydney that we'd would love to invite you to. Moviemaking is how we socialise so treat this like an overdue rassemblement with $0 late fees. A debut, a sequel, a Special Feature, a resourceful movie about gay bashing today, slow cinema for club kids, a comedy for a come-down. This is a feature length work: warning. A wishfully ambient portal.
General entry is $20 (+BF) with no one turned away ~ First Nations discount code: AMFAR ~ unwaged discount code: WHITELOTUS (we really appreciate your support of independent cinema).
This event is close captioned and wheelchair accessible. Safety + wellbeing? #1 priority. This event takes place on unceded Gadigal and Wangal country; sovereignty was never ceded: always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
[GS contains full frontal nudity, and discuses themes of violence that some may find upsetting]
