Grassroots Grant Writing & Planning & Design Information Session

Two workshops are being offered:

SESSION 1 4pm: Grant writing workshop

SESSION 2 5.30pm: Planning & design information session (can't stay for this SESSION 2, we will be running it on the 27 March as well)

Time: 

• 4.00 - 5.00pm (SESSION 1) Grant writing presentation Bring your application ideas & any questions
• 5.00 - 5.30pm Questions/mix & mingle
• 5.30 - 6.30pm (SESSION 2) Planning & design information session - bring photos of your site & ideas for a hands-on session to bring your ideas to life!

 These 2 sessions will help you to develop a strong application. Come along to gain tips and increase your chances of success. 

SESSION 1 will cover:

• who is eligible to apply and the funding available
• how to apply and key things to include in your application
• budget considerations and justification
• the assessment process and what happens next
• tips for a good application

SESSION 2 will cover:

• Creating a site plan - planning your green space
• Location considerations/what you will use the space for
• Site preparation, planting & ongoing maintenance - keeping it alive!
• Utilising others knowledge - what to plant & where & other decisions

An overview of both sessions will be available online for those that can’t attend in person.
