GRATITUDE ON MONDAYS:
A 10-Week Journaling Journey
Mondays have a reputation. But what if they could become the night you look forward to most?
Gratitude on Mondays is a warm, welcoming space where you'll slow down, reflect, and reconnect — with yourself, with what matters, and with the quiet richness of your everyday life.
Over 10 Monday evenings, we gather to explore the transformative power of gratitude — not as a surface-level positivity practice, but as a genuine way of seeing. Each session begins with an inspiring quote and an honest group discussion, followed by 20 minutes of free, private journaling and a closing intention to carry into your week.
No writing experience needed. No pressure to share. Just you, a pen, and an hour to breathe.
WHAT TO EXPECT EACH WEEK
• An inspiring opening quote and facilitated discussion
• 20 minutes of guided reflective writing
• Setting a personal intention for the week ahead
• A warm, supportive community of like-minded people
WHAT YOU'LL EXPLORE ACROSS 10 WEEKS
Themes include: the gift of the present moment · gratitude as a daily practice · resilience and the stories we tell · the beauty of relationships · finding wonder in the ordinary · growth, learning and becoming · and much more.

Phil Voysey
Phil is a chronic self-actualiser and hopeless optimist. His life has been committed to bringing out the best in himself and others. Three experiences have influenced him greatly. Studying the works of great writers at university inspired a love of language and ideas, convincing him that one of the greatest achievements in life would be to write a great novel. Hearing the guitar of Carlos Santana soaring over Latin rhythms at the Sydney Showground one summer evening released a deep sense of joy and spirituality, compelling him to learn guitar. At age 23 he accepted a two year teaching contract in Zimbabwe. This inspired more travel: a year learning Spanish with a family in Cusco, Peru, returning a year later to help establish a home for street kids. This in turn led to three years as the Director of Save the Children Australia’s aid and development program in Bangladesh. Who would have thought— life’s what happens when you’re busy making other plans. Since university and the ‘Santana’ conversion, writing (still working on the novel) and music have been part of his life and he brings that spirit of creative possibility to everything he does and shares that with clients. Creativity is not only artistic expression. Creativity is in the everyday. It is in the way we choose to live our lives. All these experiences have taught him about the power of courage and the remarkable resilience of the human spirit. He believes we are capable of triumphing over any adversity, that meaningful lives can be created from nothing and anything is possible. Phil has consolidated what he has learned from experience through further study. Over the past decade he has completed certifications in Emotional and Cultural Intelligence, Mindfulness and Developmental Coaching. This has deepened his understanding of how the mind works and how we can harness our thinking to realise our full human potential. With three decades as an educator, Phil’s super power is the ability to bring out the best in others by tapping into his knowledge of philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, spirituality and creativity. His masterclasses and coaching practice are informed by science and the wisdom of lived-experience, while employing a sense of fun and adventure in the practical pursuit of personal, commercial and business goals.
