Gratitude Day - Yoga, Breathwork, Mindfulness, Sound, Mantra & More
Event description
Join us on Sunday the 12th of January for an afternoon of mindfulness practices, connection and community, an event that has come together to support our dear friend Marco who is struggling with his health and as a result with his finances.
Gratitude Day is a day where the community supports the community, that’s why all the facilitators are working as volunteers and all donations will go straight to our brother Marco, who has always been there to support others, especially the men in our community.
At this event we will explore a variety of mindfulness practices, including gentle yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, mantras and many more. We will also enjoy live music and delicious healthy food provided by the amazing Bei Sale.
Volunteers:
✅ Jandamarra Cadd (Cultural Talk)
✅ Gwyn Williams (Yoga)
✅ Erin Lee (Meditation)
✅ Maetreyii (Sound Healing)
✅ Caroline Trengove (Sound Journey)
✅ Francis Swindells (Sound Journey)
✅ Tony Enchelmaier (Breathwork)
✅ Michael Ormston (Breathwork)
✅ Phil Barlow (Live Music)
✅ Shay Ryan (Photography)
✅ Bei Sale (Food)
✅ Greg Royer (Sound)
✅ Cristian Trujillo (Assistant)
✅ And many more.
This event is by donation (cash at the door) with a minimum of $50 plus a $10 donation for food. However, if you feel called to contribute more, we encourage you to do so.
Marco has been on a waiting list for a hernia operation for about 2 months. This condition does not allow him to do his normal work and play didge, his main instrument. Marco has been limited to generate income for a while and even after the operation he won’t be able to do any type of work for about 2-3 months.
Marco is a person who is always there for others, giving away his time, in most cases without monetizing his work. That’s why we have decided to support him, and we hope that you do too. Especially if Marco has positively impacted your life in one way or another.
We are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 12 January from 4pm at the Yandina School of Arts. Please arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.
Bring a yoga mat, a cushion, a small blanket, a bottle of water and cash for donations.
