GRAVEL SAMWIDGE have carved out a distinct niche in the Australian rock landscape, always purposefully on the outside of but making the kind of noise that makes the right people pay attention.

Described as anything from Gutter Rock, Sleaze Rock, Outsider Rock, Punk, Post Punk, Experimental, Progressive and Downer Rock , Samwidge have been active in one way or another since 1989 even winning an unlikely Triple J Unearthed!!

In their long lifetime Samwidge have shared the stage with peers and legends including Lubricated Goat, Tex Perkins, Venom P Stinger, The Beasts , Adalita, Feedtime and Mudhoney and now they are heading down from Brisbane to launch the very special Split Release 7”with New York’s THE ART GRAY NOIZZ QUINTET featuring Aussie Ex-Pat Stu Spasm from Lubricated Goat , Beasts of Bourbon and Crunt !

Helping out on the night will be PADDOCK BOMB and the awesome THIS SWEET SICKNESS !!
