Grazing Options for Dry Times

The forecast and reality is that it's a dry season.   

What do we do now? How do we come out of the drought in a stronger position.

Covered will be:

• Case study of Steven Hobbs, mixed farmer from Kaniva in north east Victoria.  Steven collects and uses of data to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of change is a key part of the overall strategy to diversify the farm to keep it productive and sustainable. He has used rotational grazing to regenerate perennial pastures, and usedsmixed species plantings for grazing & carbon sequestration.  He is awaiting confirmation of his carbon success story.

• What infrastructure is needed? Designing fencing and water infrastructure for the future.
