Greetings,

Dreaming Beyond is the theme for our Great Lakes Region Retreat in September, 2026.  The question is “Dreaming Beyond what?”  My current vision?  Yes, sort of.  My contemporaries?  Perhaps.  Let me explain.  Acts 13:36 says, “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep…”   David served his generation, but David’s vision went beyond his own generation.  A desire filled his heart that, had he been permitted to fulfill it, would have been his magnum opus.  But building the temple was for the next generation. David envisioned it, worked toward it, and even provided for it.  His joy was in knowing his son would complete something he could not.  So, in a sense, David carried a dream that went beyond his lifetime. That’s Dreaming Beyond.  This might sound like no more than an old man talking.  And it’s true.  I didn’t see this until I was close to 70.  But seeing it now and contemplating it for the past six years, I’m convinced that we all must dream beyond our own lifetimes, however young, in order to fulfill God’s purpose for us in our own generation.   

We will eat, sleep, laugh, worship and learn together at Maumee Bay Lodge and Resort.  What a perfect place (by popular demand) to unplug and be refreshed with all our Michigan, greater Cincinnati and Ohio Vineyard family beside the beautiful Lake Erie all inclusive resort!  The National Conference comes again in 2027.  September 2026 will be here before you know it!  Early fall is the time to enjoy the fresh air, spend time alone with God and get more connected face to face to our tribe in this renewing atmosphere. Let’s get away together and drop our to do lists!

Note:  The Lodge room guests will pay sales tax unless they pay with a church issued credit card and bring the tax exemption form.

To reserve a cabin, email Regina Harrington - runwithendurance12@gmail.com. She will provide you with additional information, payment plan and the deposit amount for your reservation.  The deadline to reserve a cabin is August 13, 2026.

Save your cabin confirmation number when making your reservation!  It is required when registering for the conference.

• 2-bedroom cabin: $675.74 (2 available)

• 2-bedroom cabin ADA: $675.74 (1 available)

The deadline to register for the conference is September 1, 2026.
