Event description

Get prepared for the Great Southern Bioblitz and learn how you can become a citizen scientist by using the iNaturalist app to record your observations of plants and animals.  

The Great Southern Bioblitz provides an opportunity for citizens across the Southern Hemisphere to find and record species between 24 and 27 October 2025. 

iNaturalist is an online citizen science platform that connects you with a community of over 400,000 scientists and naturalists around the world. Learn more about nature and contribute to creating research quality data so scientists can work to better understand and protect nature. 

Please install the iNaturalist app on your smart device prior to attending the workshop (requires Android 6.0 and up, Apple iOS 12.0 or later). If you need assistance, please book into a Tech Q&A by visiting our website or calling 5338 6850.
