Great Southern Nights Presents Thirsty Merc at the Piccolo Family Farm.
Thirsty Merc is unquestionably one of Australia’s finest live acts. Having released 4 critically acclaimed albums, over 250,000 album sales under their belt, a finalist in the APRA Song of the Year for 20 Good Reasons (which also reached #1 on iTunes in Australia), 5 ARIA Award nominations, Thirsty Merc have found their way into the fabric of Australia’s musical landscape.

Matt Smith – guitar. Support acts for the night include 2 of Griffith's most versatile bands, COLD COWBOYS and THE MADCOATS.Â

 Great Southern nights 2022 will be hosted at The Piccolo Family Farm. Sitting on 20 acres just outside Griffith, The property features a citrus orchard, vineyard, vegetable and herb garden, and 2 acres of beautiful gardens with unique outbuildings. Parking, Toilets, Food, and water will also be onsite at the Farm.
Great southern nights is a celebration of live music that takes place right across New South Wales. The dynamic event features hundred of COVID-19 safe performances at live music venues across Greater Sydney and regional NSW in March and April 2022. Great Southern Nights is an NSW Government initiative, delivered by destination NSW in partnership with the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) to stimulate the revival of the state's live music, entertainment, and hospitality sectors. in return the NSW visitor economy in response to challenges presented by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
