Boby Alu and Mark Crotti are set to bring an evening of warmth, rhythm and soulful musicianship to the Regent Cinema.

The historic venue, known for its vintage charm and intimate acoustics, will provide the perfect backdrop for a night that blends coastal ease with heartfelt songwriting.

Boby Alu, celebrated for his smooth vocals, island‑inspired grooves and effortless stage presence, is expected to create an atmosphere that feels both uplifting and deeply grounding. His signature blend of log‑drum rhythms and contemporary soul has a way of drawing audiences into a relaxed, communal sway.

Mark Crotti will complement that energy with his intricate guitar work and reflective, quietly compelling storytelling. His songs, rich in emotional detail, offer a gentle counterbalance to Alu’s rhythmic pulse, promising a set that feels honest, warm and beautifully human.

Together, the two artists are poised to craft a performance that feels spontaneous yet deeply connected — a meeting of musical styles that invites listeners to slow down, lean in and savour the moment. As part of Great Southern Nights, this concert is shaping up to be one of those rare evenings that lingers long after the final note.
