7 Day Writer's Retreat - with Masterclasses, Workshops and panel discussions. 

We offer workshops for writers - taking a wholistic approach from the beginning of the first idea, all the way through to publishing or self-publishing and marketing your books. 

Sevent days of Masterclasses, workshops, panel discussions and case studies, taught by seasoned professionals.

Tickets for live event are available for "active" writers or You Tube replays of all key sessions are available for "armchair" writers.

The Great Write Away is a seven step programme that breaks the writer's journey into seven manageable pieces. 

This event is "hybrid" - some lessons are only taught on-line while others are for live events, if you can get to Rotorua. 

Steps 1 - 4 are taught online (purchase the replays for $9.99) and watch them any time it suits you. 

Steps 5 - 7 taught in Rotorua (with replays available) - we focus on editing, formatting, printing, publishing, self-publishing and marketing.

  • Friday 30th September - focus on story telling, editing and hands-on sessions creating a book cover or journal (Arts Village)
  • Saturday 1 October - focus on self-publishing, panel discussions, printing and publishing, what book sellers library and bookshop tours (Library)
  • Sunday 2 October 2022 - focus on memoir, publication tips, step-by-step guide for launching and selling your book. (Library)
