Greater Sydney Landcare is Planting trees in Parramatta

🌳 Help Create a Cooler, Greener, Greater Sydney - Come Tree Planting with Greater Sydney Landcare!

Take part in a hands-on day of tree planting. You'll help cool our suburbs, create vital habitat for birds & wildlife, and connect with your community.

Whether it will be your first time planting or you're a seasoned bushcarer, everyone's welcome! No experience needed. It's a family-friendly day out.

We provide all tools, gardening gloves, training and a free lunch, plus a sweet treat.

You'll get to:

• Make a real difference for local ecosystems

• Enjoy time outdoors (great for your heath & wellbeing)

• Be part of a lovely, growing community creating a cooler, greener and more resilient Greater Sydney.

Spaces are limited, so please register to secure your spot.

Parking:

This event is expecting a large number of volunteers. Please be conscious not to block resident driveways as only street parking is available for this event.

Park Road and Parkland Ave are both parking options with a short walk from the event Registration and planting site. 

Event Registration is located next to KU Rydalmere Preschool, 89 Park Rd, Rydalmere NSW 2116.

We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land on which this event takes place.

This planting is part of the Healthy cities Landcare Grants—This project is proudly supported BUPA and Landcare Australia, in partnership with by City of Parramatta and Greater Sydney Landcare to plant 10,000 trees, shrubs, grasses and groundcovers along The Ponds and Subiaco Creek in Parramatta.
