Greek Wine - a modern Odyssey

You've seen the film - now come taste the wines! Greek wine is a modern adventure in flavour and specific and distinctive terroir. From the mountains north of Thessaloniki to the sun drenched (and notoriously windy) slopes of the island of Santorini; Greek wine draws on a thousands year old winemaking heritage and uses predominantly indigenous Greek grapes. Join us for an evening with Carlene Wilson - whose background in archaeology and Classics means this will be a journey not just through the wine regions, grapes and styles of modern Greek wine; but a true Odyssey into the ancient heritage of the country and its winemaking traditions. As always with these special tastings, there will be some delicious Greek food to sample and a range of wines to taste and purchase.
