Green Lab - WA Tree Festival in the City of Melville
Event description
Join Millennium Kids at Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre for this two day Green Lab – WA Tree Festival series. Work with educators, poets and musicians to share your love of trees. Listen to the sounds of nature, explore the local area and create a tree- mendous performance with local musicians, Junkadelic.
The two day series is for young people 8 - 15 years.
Dates:
8th April 2024 10.00am - 3.30pm
and
11th April 2024 1.00pm - 4.00pm ( culminating in a performance with Junkadelic and family picnic from 4.00pm to 5.00pm )
Fully supervised by Millennium Kids staff and volunteers.
This event is sponsored by the City of Melville so participation is FREE but we encourage participants to:
PAY BY PLASTIC BOTTLES
Collect a bag of 10c deposit containers and bring them to the MK collection point on the day and pay by waste.
